The Archangel Raphael resides in a great cathedral constructed entirely of white marble. The structure is replete with statuary and stained glass windows depicting the Archangel himself as well as various scenes from the Book of Tobit. Most of the cathedral is a fully functioning center of worship in the style of Catholic churches throughout the world, with private quarters in the back for the god and shinki. The large and lavish bathing chamber has waters with healing properties, befitting the Archangel's association with healing, and there is also a great library filled with books on nearly every subject.

Personality: Since a young age, Luna has been raised as the Oracle of Tenebrae, a young woman chosen by the gods to commune with them and deliver their blessings to the people. She is very dedicated to her calling, never shrinking from her duty and never complaining about its demands. The Oracle's job is to prevent the world from succumbing to darkness, and so Luna works tirelessly in pursuit of this goal, traveling the land to give blessings and cure the plague infesting the souls of the people. Once Noctis and his friends begin their journey, she devotes the same energy toward the task of awakening and communing with the astrals to prepare the young prince to receive their blessings.

Luna's encounters with the astrals themselves are the best way to demonstrate the depth of her resolve. The astrals are the gods of the world of Eos - large, terrible, capricious, and often violent - and though Luna has the ability to speak with them, she has no special power to sway their mood beyond words. This doesn't stop her, though, and she seeks each of them out alone to implore them to form covenants with Noctis. The process is dangerous to both life and limb, as the spiritual demands of the ritual to awaken the astrals slowly causes Luna to fall ill. She is also often attacked directly, as in the case of Leviathan, but she faces down the gods as fearlessly as she does the troops of the Niflheim Empire when they rush into her room with guns pointed at her. It's really summed up best in her own words: "I do not fear death. What I fear is doing nothing and losing everything."

While Luna's resolve is impressive, it is nearly outmatched by her deep sense of faith and compassion. She believes strongly in the good in people, even in the worst of circumstances. Despite her brother Ravus going to work for Niflheim and plotting revenge against King Regis, she continues to believe in the good in him, and eventually her compassion and resolve convince him to set aside his grudge to help Noctis. Likewise, she doesn't blame King Regis for what happened to Tenebrae, or for choosing to save his own son over her and her brother after the invasion by Niflheim. She remains a calming presence in Noctis' life, supporting him afar not only as the Oracle but as a woman who loves him with all her heart. It is this kindness that shines forth in her own travels, calming and inspiring in turn all who encounter her.

Underneath her confidence and strength, Luna carries a deep loneliness and sorrow inside of her. She longs to be together with Noctis and to accompany him in his travels, but is unable to do so because of her duties as the Oracle. Again, in her own words: "I wish not to guide him - merely to stand beside him." She only shows this vulnerable side of herself to her brother, as she knows that she needs to maintain a certain composure when she appears in front of the people. Even still, it is entirely her own choice to aid Noctis in reclaiming the throne by communing with the astrals, even as she becomes increasingly aware of the cost. She says that all she sees ahead is darkness, but still maintains the hope that has formed the core of her being for all her life.
